I am Priyanka! I have a background in Accounting and Finance from the University of Hong Kong, but my real education in giving back started much earlier—at age ten, when I first joined a flag-raising drive. Since then, I've volunteered in elderly homes, community centres, and youth programmes across Hong Kong. Those experiences taught me something no lecture ever could: showing up for someone, even in a small way, matters.
I first came to Birthday Happiness Asia as a volunteer, helping at parties for children who rarely get to feel celebrated. Like many people, I came to give. What I didn't expect was how much I'd receive in return—the laughter, the shy smiles, the reminder that joy is something we can actually create for one another.
I've always believed in giving back to society. BHA is one of the places where that belief becomes something real—a party, a gift, a child who feels seen. I'm proud to be part of it.
